Men with wider faces make others behave more selfishly, according to a series of new studies published in the journal PLOS ONE. According to researchers from the University of California, Riverside, their findings support two previous studies showing that men with wider faces tend to lead more financially successful companies – and they are also more likely to lie and cheat. The researchers conducted a series of four studies, each of which involved between 131 to 201 participants. In the first study, they found a link between facial width-to-height ratio (fWHR) and general self-interest, or selfishness. For the study, the men were asked to perform a “resource allocation task” in which they were to imagine themselves making economic decisions that would affect both them and an anonymous partner, who would be making the same choices for themselves. This is one of the biggest misconceptions out there: Guys who think their days of having sex have to be over because they’ve just reached some magical age where everything stops working. People get this idea in their head and they’re just too old for sex. It’s discouraging. It’s infuriating. And it’s rarely true. It’s one of the most common questions we hear in our clinic, so let’s just answer it here: Whatever how old you are, there is help for you out there. Age not a serious factor in erectile dysfunction. True, as you get older, your erections may not work quite well as they used to, but they certainly don’t have to stop altogether. If you’re 60 years old, you can be having sex. If you’re 76 years old, you can be having sex. Here’s a great, true story: We once had a man come in to our clinic who was 85 years old. His wife had passed away ten years earlier, and he had given up on sex altogether. He’d simply assumed his days of getting laid were over. But he…

Erectile dysfunction is a taboo subject among men. No one likes to talk about it. But the fact is that as men age, an increasing number will suffer from erectile dysfunction. From the age of 30, the number of men who have unsatisfactory erections or none at all increases. In the over-60 age group, more than half of all men have been affected by erectile dysfunction. The main causes include cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hormonal imbalance, neurological disease and the side-effects of medication. Even spinal paralysis can result in patients no longer being able to have erections. Some men reach for the ‘blue pills’ to deal with erectile dysfunction. However, Viagra helps only to prolong an erection; it does not actually trigger it. To ‘get it up’, researchers led by Martin Fussenegger, professor of Biotechnology and Bioengineering at the Department of Biosystems (D-BSSE) in Basel, have now developed a novel biotechnological solution: a gene therapy that triggers reliable erections. …

Here is one BIG mistake you can make when shaving that causes painful ingrown hairs and unsightly skin. Every now and then everybody gets an ingrown hair – and some more so than others on a daily basis. So what causes ingrown hairs and how can you prevent them? According to Dr. Oz, how you shave may be the reason why you have those painful and unsightly bumps. “They’re painful, they’re unsightly and…well…they’re kind of gross too—I’m talking about ingrown hairs. Today we are going to talk about them and more importantly—how to get rid of them,” says Dr. Oz who tells viewers that their choice of razor they use may be the cause of their ingrown hair problem. Ingrown hairs are just what they sound like—hairs that rather than stand straight or are slightly flexed wind up curling down and reentering the skin through an open pore. The problem with this is that it leads to infection and inflammation that can result in a pus-filled sore that is not only unattractive to y…
